Reiki Harmony Center offers multiple types of Reiki Healing Sessions to suit your needs. We offer sessions for individuals and couples. Sessions can be done “hands-on” with the client(s) physically in our practice, or “remotely” via a distant healing session. Any Reiki session will integrate all healing techniques that are known to the Practitioner. Healing Sessions are offered in both our Scottsdale and North Phoenix locations. Other locations may be available upon request.

Reiki is a great tool for stress reduction and relaxation. It can be used for wellness, not just to assist in healing. Reiki is not a cure for a disease or illness, but may assist the body in creating an environment that may facilitate healing.
Reiki can also be used in complement to traditional medicine and is practiced in many hospitals and medical care settings. Reiki Practitioners understand that an illness is an expression of some part of the body/mind that does not know how to be well. Reiki works on all levels – emotional, spiritual, mental and physical, as it works to achieve long-term improvement by helping people address, heal and release issues that once led to the problem.
During a Reiki session, the client will rest comfortably on a massage table on their back or stomach. Unlike massage therapy, no articles of clothing are removed. A session can either be hands-on, where a Practitioner will apply a light touch during the session, or hands-off where the Practitioner will hover his/her hands right above the body. The client can indicate their preference before or during the session.
The recipient of Reiki might feel heat. This heat is above normal body temperature. They might feel strong heat. They might feel a tingling sensation. This may be experienced as pins and needles, a magnetic 'force field'. They might feel pulsation, cold. This might feel like a cold sensation in an area. The recipient may also feel nothing at all or nothing but sheer relaxation. The recipient may experience a release in the form of laughing, crying or the relaxation of muscles during or days after a session.
Reiki sessions can also be performed at a distance without having the client be physically present. The Practitioner and the client schedule a time for the session. During the session, the Practitioner calls up the energy of the person and sends Reiki to that energy. The client will feel and benefit from the session as though they were physically present. The client will get a full debrief of the session. Distant sessions last at most 1 hour and are generally very focused regarding the goal of the session.

Reiki Harmony Center students automatically receive a 10% discount on all Reiki healing sessions. Initial healing sessions usually take approximately 1.5 hours to discuss your healing history and healing goals; however, they will be charged at the regular 1-hour rate. Most ongoing sessions last about 1 hour.
NOTE: Reiki sessions will be provided in both our Scottsdale and North Phoenix locations. Travel sessions at a client's home include the regular cost plus 50 cents per mile roundtrip from North Phoenix, AZ.
Individual Healing Sessions are held in a private room between the practitioner and the client in a relaxing atmosphere with candles and soothing music.

Couples Healing Sessions allow two people to experience a Reiki session together at the same time in the same room. Each person will have a Reiki practitioner working with them. This is a very precious and harmonious experience for both partners, significant others, or friends.
